Business context
Celebrity time on set is short and expensive. Everything — set, light, camera positions, questions — has to be ready before talent arrives, so the interview can run without stopping.
Objective
Capture a natural, on-brand interview with celebrity talent, and come away with footage strong enough for a finished film and social cut-downs.
Strategy
Plan the day around the talent. The shoot was split into set-ups — a seated two-person interview set and a styled portrait set — so lighting and camera could be prepared in parallel while talent moved between them.
Creative direction
Warm, soft key light and a clean, premium set so the people stay the focus, with a sculptural backdrop for the portrait set-up.
Execution
- Planned the shoot and set-ups.
- Directed the talent on set — posing, delivery and pacing.
- Shot photo and video across the interview and portrait set-ups.
- Edited the final film.
